Using the editor "File Manager" you can create hyperlinks to files that have been uploaded to the system. In general, it is best that these files are in PDF format -- because more people have the Adobe Reader on their computers (which opens PDF files) than readers/programs for other file types (e.g., MS Word, Publisher, Excel). Therefore, if you have documents in formats other than PDF, they should be converted to PDF before uploading them. If you don't have a method of making this conversion, you can use the tool below. Just click on "Document to PDF," click on "Choose File," find/select the file on your hard-drive, enter your email address, and click on "Convert and send." Within in a minute or so, you'll receive an email with the PDF attached.
You can also use this tool to convert a web page to a PDF. Just click on "URL to PDF,", enter the URL of the web page, and click on "Convert and send." Within in a minute or so, you'll receive an email with the PDF attached. NOTE: due to the great variabilities in how web pages are constructed, this PDF will vary in quality. |
